On November 4, the Bredefleur booth at the Trade Fair Aalsmeer hosted the unveiling of the BFF of the Year Contest 2025. Levi Evers, as one of the judges, announced that Anna Loshakova is the eventual winner. The other judges Hanneke Frankema and Peter van Delft also unanimously agreed that she is the outright winner and that she stood out head and shoulders above the rest.
“Anna Loshakova's creations look top notch, are innovative, she dares to take risks. The picture is complete with make-up, photography, model, technique used etc. giving it a very beautiful, unique atmosphere,” said jury member Hanneke.
On Wednesday, November 5, Anna accepted her award in person. What makes it even more special is that her creation for our May BFF of the Month was already on display on the wall of our booth earlier this year.
Anna says, “Wow, I never expected this! I only recently started making floral arrangements and this was my very first competition. I can't believe I've already won, it feels unreal.”

What is the BFF Contest?
BFF stands for Bredefleur Friend: creative florists and designers who use our lilies in their work.
In this international competition, we challenge our BFFs to show who can create the most beautiful and creative lily work.
The assignment: each participant receives 60 stems of Bredefleur lilies of their choice. Using their own style and vision, they create a unique design.
The reward:
- For an international winner, we have airfare and a visit to the Netherlands, including a two-night hotel stay and an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of our nursery.
- For a Dutch winner: 2 day hotel stay with Wellness at Van der Valk and of course a visit to Bredefleur.
- A voucher or cash prize of €500.
- International exposure: the most outstanding design will be shown on our exhibition walls during the Trade Fair and all other trade shows in 2026, among other things, as well as included in our 2026 product catalog.
- A unique opportunity to showcase your creativity and name worldwide!
Our judges
For this special contest, we have assembled a diverse jury, each with their own expertise. Each juror brings his or her background, creativity and perspective: from world-class floral artistry to innovative storytelling and in-depth industry knowledge. Together they judge the BFF creations not only on technical craftsmanship, but also on originality, presentation and the power to inspire.
Hanneke Frankema
Award-winning floral artist and world champion. She is internationally known for her master classes, demonstrations and her boldness in color combinations, unconventional techniques and attention to detail.
Peter van Delft
Floral content creator and industry storyteller. With his reels, blogs and interviews, he brings the world of cut flowers to life and connects growers, breeders and florists worldwide. For some time now, he has also been able to bring our lilies to the attention of his large international audience.
Levi Evers
Sales & Marketing Director at Bredefleur. Together with his brothers, Levi drives the mission to promote innovation, sustainability and strong collaborations in the lily industry.

Nechifor Ioana (Romania)

Kazi Hafijor Rahman Sagar (Saudi Arabia)
