Cultivation Assistant - Moerkapelle

As a Cultivation Assistant, you will work closely with the Cultivation Specialist to ensure our lilies grow under optimal conditions. Your tasks in the greenhouse include watering and monitoring the health of the plants. One of your key responsibilities is scouting for pests and responding swiftly and effectively using (biological) crop protection methods. Additionally, you will assist in preparing the soil and greenhouses for a new planting cycle, ensuring our bulbs can grow under the best possible conditions. When time allows, you will also support the production team by lending a hand where needed. You will participate in weekend on-call shifts, based on a pre-agreed rotation schedule to ensure a fair distribution of responsibilities.

You are someone with a genuine interest in flowers and cultivation. You are capable of working independently, but also enjoy collaborating with colleagues. Learning new things and developing yourself in the field of cultivation comes naturally to you.

You are flexible and able to switch smoothly between different tasks. With a hands-on attitude and a practical mindset, you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get things done. In addition, you are willing to take part in weekend on-call shifts when needed.
