Kazi Hafijor Rahman: Connected Worldwide Through Lilies

For floral designer Kazi Hafijor Rahman, this statement is at the heart of his collaboration with Bredefleur. As a member of the Bredefleur Friends (BFF) community, he works with premium lilies that inspire him to develop innovative floral creations. His latest collection, created for the BFF of the Year 2025 Contest, showcases the lily’s versatility as a starting point for professional floral design.

For this collection, Kazi worked exclusively with three Bredefleur varieties: Watch Up Supra, Zelmira and Dark Secret. Using these lilies, he created seven monodesigns in four different styles: artistic, sculptural, dining setup, and Della Robbia (a famous artistic style from the Italian Renaissance).

His approach was deliberately simple. He did not use any other flowers or filler materials, so that the natural shape, color, and elegance of the lily could be fully appreciated.

The collection showcases how a single flower lends itself to a wide range of applications—from expressive floral portraits and three-dimensional installations to refined table arrangements. Each design highlights a different characteristic of the lily and underscores the versatility of the Bredefleur assortment.

According to Kazi, the Bredefleur Friends program has helped him further develop his creativity. One of his best-known designs, the Watch Up Supra Lily Foldable Umbrella Bouquet, went viral worldwide with more than 21 million views on Instagram and over 30 million views across all his social media channels. In addition, he was named an International Floral Star by Florists’ Review, the oldest trade magazine for florists.

In addition to international visibility, Kazi particularly values the opportunity to exchange ideas with other professional florists.
