Claudia Delli Rocioli: A play of depth, texture and emotion
Claudia Delli Rocioli transforms flowers into a complete experience. The Italian floral designer combines emotion, texture and natural movement in powerful designs. At the BFF Contest of the Year 2025, she once again showed how versatile lilies are within floral art.
For this creation, Claudia drew inspiration from transformation and the layers of nature. The design looks like a living painting in which flowers, textures and deep burgundy tones merge. The monochromatic colors and soft, velvety textures give the work an air of mystery.
Composition all about the lily
Claudia chose to completely blend the lilies into the composition. The flowers seem to grow forward from the background. This creates a strong vertical movement that is immediately noticeable.
From every angle, you will discover new details. Despite the rich textures, the design remains calm and natural feeling.
Texture over color
Whereas Claudia previously worked with many color contrasts, this time she deliberately chose tranquility and a monochromatic palette. The emotion this time is mainly in the different structures and layers.
The biggest challenge lay in the balance between the full mass of flowers and the textured background. Everything had to remain light and harmonious. That requires precision in composition, movement and proportion.
A floral experience you feel
Claudia wants people to not just look at her work, but to experience it. The design invites people to come closer and discover details.
According to Claudia, the power of botanical materials lies in their expression. With this creation, she shows how floral art brings nature, emotion and design together in one immersive experience.
